Puppyhood is the most critical stage of your dog’s life, and our training process reflects that. We’ll help you build a foundation for a well-behaved, confident pup.
This is our most comprehensive Home School Training Program, designed specifically for raising and training puppies the right way! Your puppy will be fully trained, and off leash reliable without having to leave your puppy overnight for extended periods of time. This program is our ‘Home School version of the Perfect Puppy Program.
We will come take your dog on a training adventure to local parks, dog friendly shops, your neighboorhood, and hiking trails, to ensure your dog is trained in the places and situations you want great behavior.
The Adventure Puppy Program is structured to influence your puppy’s behavior during their critical development periods, to provide you the correct puppy raising guidance, and to stop problem behaviors before they start. During the foundation training, we require attendance 2 days per week. During the off leash training, 3 days per week is required to meet our high standard of excellence. Age appropriate vaccinations (distemper, parvo, and bordetella) are required, Rabies is required after 4 month of age. Puppies must be at least 6 months old for the off leash training portion of the program.
Your puppy will know how to: walk next to you, past other dogs, people or other distractions on a loose leash, or with no leash at all! They will also: come when called, understand to stay on their bed when asked, sit, down, and behave in public and at home. The first phase begins at or after ten weeks of age and focuses on proper socialization, confidence building, handling for grooming, and basic obedience skills. In between the puppy training and adult training, we can keep their training skills sharp as they mature through Adventure Pup days, or, in home coaching you through the puppy raising process. Once your puppy is developmentally ready to tackle off leash skills (about seven months of age) your puppy returns for off leash training and advanced obedience skills. Our programs help you create a dog that walks nicely on a leash without pulling, who is reliable under high distractions, and who listens even when they’re excited. Age appropriate vaccinations (distemper, parvo, and bordetella) are required, Rabies is required after 4 month of age.
Puppies under six months old are welcome to join us for 10-packs of Adventure Puppy Training to learn on-leash obedience. This program works on socialization, crate training, potty training, grooming and handling, and an introduction to obedience (basic leash skills and coming when called). This is a great *first step* if you are looking to help mold your new puppy into a well-adjusted adult dog. We recommend that puppies are 10 weeks old to begin this program. Age appropriate vaccinations (distemper, parvo, and bordetella) are required. For In Home or Daycare Training, Puppy Owners must commit to at least 2 days per week, and the training is available Monday through Friday, only. The board and train is 10 consecutive nights, available all days. Additional Nights may be purchased, if needed.
Puppy training isn’t just about what your dog learns in the program — it’s about what happens when your puppy comes home. Early habits form fast, and without clear follow-through, even great puppy training can fade.
That’s why Dog Dynamix supports you after your puppy completes training, so the structure, routines, and skills you start now actually shape your dog’s behavior long-term.
We review your puppy’s skills, your handling, and your daily structure so you know exactly how to move forward.
We make sure routines are working at home and adjust anything before small puppy behaviors turn into habits.
We confirm skills are sticking as your puppy grows and help you maintain structure through new stages of development.
Bringing home a new puppy is exciting — and it’s also when the most important learning begins. Puppies are constantly taking in new sights, sounds, and experiences. Professional puppy training helps guide that learning so your dog grows up confident, calm, and adaptable. Starting early makes everyday life together easier and more enjoyable.
Tell Us About Your PuppyAt Dog Dynamix, we understand that puppyhood is the most critical stage of your dog’s life, and our training process reflects that. Here’s how we help you build a foundation for a well-behaved, confident pup:
We begin by developing a dialog with your puppy using positive reinforcement. Each training plan is tailored to their unique needs, temperament, and developmental stage.
Your puppy will participate in supervised training adventures to local parks, shops, and hiking trails. This exposure ensures your puppy is well-socialized to a variety of people, animals, and environments while learning to listen to commands and behave confidently in different situations.
We focus on common puppy challenges, such as:
We teach essential commands to help your puppy become a well-mannered companion:
Our training doesn’t stop with your puppy. We provide follow-up lessons and family education to ensure the entire household is equipped to continue the training process. We’ll guide you every step of the way so the training sticks!
A great puppy trainer does more than teach basic commands. They help your puppy safely experience new environments, ride in the car, relax in a crate, and observe the world without becoming overwhelmed. That exposure is critical during a puppy’s development. It’s why adventure-based puppy training works so well.
Tell Us About Your PuppyProper socialization is key to raising a confident, well-behaved dog. Our training ensures your puppy interacts with new people, animals, and environments in a positive and structured way, reducing the risk of fear, anxiety, or problem behaviors.
Puppies are adorable—but they can also be frustrating! Our program is designed to stop unwanted behaviors like jumping, demand barking, and inappropriate biting before they become lifelong habits.
We provide guidance and training for all the big puppy milestones, including potty training, crate training, and basic obedience. Our compassionate trainers are here to help you every step of the way, no judgment included!
Your puppy will learn and grow in a climate-controlled facility with a low trainer-to-dog ratio for individualized attention. Field trips and training adventures provide the mental stimulation and socialization your puppy needs to thrive.
We’re passionate about helping dog owners build the best possible relationships with their puppies. Check out our Instagram and Facebook for videos of real puppies in training and the results we achieve!
We offer a free consultation! Let’s schedule a meet and greet with your puppy, give you a facility tour, and discuss your training needs over the phone, or in person.
We recommend enrolling your puppy in one of our Puppy Day Train or Puppy Board and Train programs as soon as possible, so we can get that puppy started on the right track. We can take puppies as young as ten weeks of age, as long as they are up to date on vaccinations (kennel cough and distemper/parvo combination), and they have a negative fecal exam showing they are free of intestinal parasites and bacteria. Starting puppy training early helps build obedience, confidence, and calm behavior before unwanted habits form.
Puppies go through a critical learning period early in life, and early training helps you get ahead of common puppy problems like pulling, jumping, biting, and potty training setbacks. While every puppy is different, we generally recommend starting professional puppy training in Denver as soon as your puppy meets our health requirements. When training starts early, puppies tend to learn faster and build stronger long-term habits.
Not all puppy socialization classes are created equal. In fact, many of them can do more harm than good. At Dog Dynamix, we are committed to setting you and your puppy up to succeed. We focus on teaching you how to socialize your puppy the right way, meaning we help introduce your puppy to new people, dogs, and things in their environment carefully and thoughtfully. Doggy daycares, dog parks, and group puppy classes can overwhelm puppies and create timid behavior rather than build confidence. Our puppy trainers help your puppy become confident and obedient at the same time.
Yes. Teaching your puppy to love their kennel takes time and patience, and crate training is a major part of puppy training. We make sure puppies have a positive experience in their crates by making it a normal part of their routine while they are with us, and we practice crate training in both quiet areas of the facility and in higher-activity zones. Puppies are fed their meals in their crates, and we offer frozen stuffed Kongs and other puppy-appropriate chew items to help them settle. Our trainers also do repetitions of “shaping” the crate so going into the kennel becomes a rewarding game that pays well.
Biting is a normal puppy behavior, but we get it… ouch. Our goal in a puppy training program is to help you find the right techniques to discourage puppy biting and decrease it as much as possible as quickly as possible. The good news is that most puppies stop mouthing everything once all of their adult teeth are in and settled. In the meantime, we help you choose appropriate chew and play items so you can redirect biting to something more appropriate, and we teach you how to reduce overstimulation and improve impulse control through obedience training.
Yes. Potty training is one of the most common reasons owners search for puppy training in Denver, and it’s closely connected to supervision, structure, and routines. Our programs support potty training by creating predictable schedules, using crate training appropriately, and teaching calm behaviors that help puppies settle between potty breaks. We also provide tips and best practices so you can keep progress consistent at home.
Our goal is to provide the best puppy training in Denver by not only teaching your puppy new skills, but also helping you learn how to “think like a dog trainer.” Group puppy classes can give you information, but they don’t provide the immersive training experience found at Dog Dynamix. In our puppy training camps, your puppy goes on field trips to new spaces, meets other trained puppies and adult dogs, and is handled by true professionals who are experts in body language and confidence building. Our puppy programs also include recommended training equipment, one-on-one private lessons, and ongoing support to keep you on track.
Many owners are coached to wait until their puppy is fully vaccinated to begin training, and from a behavioral perspective we feel that is often a mistake. The key socialization window for puppies is early, so waiting too long can mean missing critical development. While there are inherent risks of putting your puppy around other dogs, we mitigate those risks by requiring vaccinations, a negative stool sample, and apparent good health upon enrollment. We also maintain stringent daily disinfecting protocols to keep puppies safe and healthy during training.
YES. If your puppy seems timid around new dogs or people, getting a professional involved early can make a huge difference. It is not uncommon for scared puppies to become reactive as they mature, so enrolling while they are young and before fear-based habits develop is critical. While we can’t change genetics, we can help build confidence through structured exposure, obedience foundations, and thoughtful socialization so your puppy feels safer and more secure in the world.
We offer Puppy Day Train and Puppy Board and Train programs designed for Denver puppy owners who want real results, real structure, and real-life skills. These programs help with obedience, leash manners, crate training, potty training support, confidence building, and socialization done correctly. We also provide ongoing guidance so you can maintain the results as your puppy grows.
Puppies don’t learn confidence by staying at home. Our Adventure Pup Program helps puppies experience Denver’s real world — safely and intentionally. Through structured outings, car rides, crate work, and guided observation, puppies learn how to stay calm, curious, and focused in new situations. It’s one of the best ways to support healthy development while helping your puppy integrate into your life sooner.
