Why Puppy Training and Reactive Dog Training Are Listed Separately
Puppy training and reactive dog training are still delivered in the same three formats — Door to Door, Daycare Training, or Board and Train. We separate them here because they are fundamentally different from standard adult obedience training.
Puppy training is designed for dogs under 7 months, when their brains are wired for foundational learning. The focus is on socialization, confidence-building, potty training, crate manners, and preventing the behavior problems most adult dogs eventually develop. Different developmental stage. Different training approach. Different program length.
Reactive dog training is designed for dogs that bark, lunge, or react intensely to triggers — other dogs, strangers, bikes, cars, or specific situations. This requires more sessions, more owner coaching, and a specialized behavior-modification approach that goes far beyond standard obedience.
