Dog Trainer Helper

Job Description

Dog Dynamix is seeking a dog trainer helper to assist with Boarding and Training, Daycare, Boarding and General Facility upkeep in Arvada, CO. Preference will be given to graduates of formal dog training schools, and people who align with balanced dog training methodology. Dog Trainer Helper Tasks Include: feeding, cleaning, tending to the facility, taking dogs to the vet, dog play and enrichment, dog training, as well as any and all duties associated with working in a board-and-train facility. Opening Shifts begin at 6:30am. Closing shifts end at 8:30pm. One weekend day required. Holidays required.

Requirements

1 Year of verifiable employment working with dogs
Able to email videos of dogs you’ve trained
Available for one weekend day
Reliable transportation
Professional presentation
Ability to work independently
Ability to take high quality photos and video for dog progress reports
Bonus: Familiar with traditional and modern training techniques

Ideally the candidate has a strong skillset with ecollar as well as positive reinforcement and motivational dog training. Candidates should be open to learning our system and approach to dog training.
